Bank credit for 177,539 taxpayers will be made on the 16th of this month, totaling 370 million reais. Of this total, R $ 6.768 million will go to elderly taxpayers (21.130) and those with some physical or mental disability or serious illness (2.232).

The Selic rate correction of the amount to be refunded varies from 9.92% (for refunds referring to 2016) and 91.49% (for those for 2008). To find out if the declaration has been released, the taxpayer must access the Revenue page on the internet, or call Receitafone 146.

When consulting the Revenue page, through the e-CAC service, it is possible to access the statement extract and see if there are data inconsistencies identified by the processing. In this case, the taxpayer can assess the inconsistencies and make the self-regulation, by submitting a rectifying statement.

Tablets and smartphones – The IRS also provides an application for tablets and smartphones that makes it easier to consult the Individual Income Tax declarations and registration status in the CPF (Cadastro de Pessoa Jurídica). With it, it will be possible to consult directly on the bases of the Federal Revenue information on the release of tax refunds and the registration status of a registration with the CPF.

The refund will be available in the bank for one year. If the taxpayer does not make the redemption within this period, he / she must apply online, using the Electronic Form – Refund Payment Request, or directly at e-CAC, at the Extract Processing Service of the Individual Income Tax Declaration.

If the amount is not credited, the taxpayer can personally contact any BB branch or call the Call Center by calling 4004-0001 (capitals), 0800-729-0001 (other locations) and 0800-729-0088 ( special phone exclusively for the hearing impaired) to schedule credit in a checking or savings account, in your name, at any bank.
